Royal Beluga Caviar

Royal Beluga Caviar (Huso huso) - The Beluga which lives for 100 years, creates large opalescent grey-blue caviar with a delicate skin and a palate-tickling flavour.

The Beluga sturgeon can grow up to 2,000 pounds in some cases and yields the largest ''berries'' of all the sturgeon family.

Unfortunately, the Beluga sturgeons do not begin to bear eggs until they are about 20 years old.

For this reason, and because the Beluga has the mildest flavour, Beluga is the most highly prized of all caviars, and subsequently the most expensive.

Our Royal Beluga Caviar is 000 grade - the best available grade.
